Iretha

From Wolf Scrapbook

Name Iretha
Purpose Goddess of Creation (Arscillic Goddess)
Alignment Honorable
Enlightenment Supreme
Age Billions of years

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

Iretha is the Arscillic goddess of creation and the supreme deity and mother goddess of Canyon lore. Her stage of enlightenment is far beyond any other goddess' and in fact she is the very source of the Arscil Soul that allows for their very existence. Kas describes her as "the most powerful goddess in the canyon", since he feels her power is greater than any other canyon goddess (or even Arscillic goddess) he knows of or has met.

Her knowledge is very significant and borderline omniscient, and she may even be nigh-omnipotent. She has white hair, blue eyes, and symboled pupils. She is honorable and a good sword fighter.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Iretha's origins are entirely up to speculation, as the only person who knows exactly what Iretha is, is Iretha herself. She could be a member of an even more ancient extraterrestrial race who has long since transcended through natural evolution. Alternatively, this extraterrestrial race could have merged into one super-consciousness through various means, creating Iretha in the process.

A more fun origin to propose is that Iretha is actually a human! If at some point in time, humans evolve transcendence, then it stands to reason that they have also transcended time as well as space. Therefore, Iretha may be a human from millions of years into the future who has traveled back in time to create a race of goddesses to be the caretakers of Earth to ensure humanity's survival (and thus her own!). This could explain why the Arscillians are humanoid- Iretha could have made them in her own human form!

Relation to Kas[edit | edit source]

Kas' great grandpa's sword, Numelydal, was given to him by Iretha after she bested him in a sword fight, but still saw him as worthy.
Kas later chatted with her at a campsite and later in Arscil in her realm.
