Characteristics[edit | edit source]
Ire is a being of destruction and an Arscillic Goddess. It is known for being the first paranormal being in Arscil's existence, besides its creator Iretha. Ire seems to not possess gender as we know it due to not having any direct connections to Earth where the concept of gender can be found. Ire is described by Kas as both a woman (like a goddess) and a man (as Azerai's brother), so it is safe to assume Ire can be a gender neutral being.
Biography[edit | edit source]
After Iretha created Arscil, a number of humanoids named Arscillians were created with a portion of Iretha's soul, known as an Arscil Soul. After many thousands of years of technological and scientific development, the humans were ready to experiment on a way to bypass death. To do this, they found a way to pool their Arscil Souls together to create one mega-soul, known as a Catalyst. In the process of doing so, the new being had the ability to impose its will upon reality with thoughts. Unfortunately for the Arscillians, their ids took control of the powers over their egos, forming a being of pure evil and death known as Ire.
Ire then began to quickly terrorize Arscil, destroying everything in sight. Meanwhile, the remaining Arscillians created the rest of the original Arscillic Goddesses through the same catalyst mechanism, but they were either too evil themselves or too powerless to stop Ire. Only one being, Ashiri, composed of souls of the fully righteous, stood a chance at stopping Ire. She proposed a method of creating new goddesses, though this ultimately turned out to be a naive plan. Ire went off and started converting Arscillians into minions known as Ire Goddesses, who were mostly evil due to containing parts of Ire's soul. With her minion's help, she killed all of the Arscillians.
However, not all was lost. One of the Ire Goddesses wasn't fully evil, and Ire banished her as a result. After contemplation and after receiving a powerful new weapon of fate, this goddess, known as Azerai, broke out of her banishment and slew the Ire Goddesses, before finally putting an end to Ire herself. After Managire was created to heal the souls of the Ire Goddesses, purifying them into the original spirits, Ire and Ashiri were locked away, and have been for billions of years since.
Through the billions of years, even the powerful seal that bonded Ire began to break, allowing some of her essence to seep through and create Ire Incarnations. After Kas freed Ashiri in 2020, it also released Ire in the process, possibly dooming the world even beyond the Barrier.
Relation to Kas[edit | edit source]
One of Kas' friends, Teire, is an incarnation of Ire. Kas also awoke and freed Ashiri from her seal, which also freed Ire from her seal. Now, Ire's status is unknown.
